An inventor driven by creativity
Coming from a working-class family of Italian origin, Michel Foglieni trained in electronics at a very early age. From the 1970s, he designed, engineered, and assembled automatic games for cafés and bistros.
Founder of the companyLE STAR, based in Cugnaux, he developed a recognized business for several decades in the field of pinball machines, jukeboxes, pool tables, and arcade games, with more than20,000 machines manufactured between 1980 and 1995.
The birth of the M.FOG barbecue
Passionate about cooking and grilling, Michel Foglieni reached a simple conclusion: traditional barbecues burn food and do not allow for precise cooking adjustments.
Finding no satisfactory product on the market, he decided to design his own barbecue, equipped with aunique lever-operated grill height adjustment system, offering seven cooking levels.
